Knowledge Article 9905:
I purchased SellFolio, but my projects still show the "Buy Now" message

Applicability: SellFolio 4.0 Complete only

Explanation

This article assumes that you purchased SellFolio.  You might find that projects that you previously created using the Free Trial version still show the "Click Here To Buy SellFolio" message in the upper-right corner of the screen.  These instructions describe how to remove that "Click Here To Buy SellFolio" message.

Solution 1

1) Install the purchased edition of SellFolio.  Open SellFolio Builder, and ensure that the opening splash screen does not say "Free Trial."  If "Free Trial" is shown, then you did not install the purchased edition, and you need to do so.

2) Now that you are not in the "Free Trial" edition, and you are in a purchased edition of SellFolio, choose your previously-created project in Step 1.  Click the button in Step 1 that says, "Update project to this edition."

3) Do a Test-Drive to ensure that your project updated properly, thereby removing the "Buy Now" message from your project.

4) If you are a ViewWork subscriber, and you previously uploaded a project that you made using the "Free Trial" edition, you will need to log in to your ViewWork account in Step 8, remove that project from your ViewWork account, and re-upload your newly-updated project.  NOTE: You might also need to delete your web browser's file cache (in Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options > Delete Files), and then view your project online.
