Knowledge Article 9903:
How do I save my projects to a different drive or folder?

These instructions assume you are using the Microsoft Vista operating system.

1) Go into My Computer or Windows Explorer and locate the folder where you installed SellFolio Builder.  The default locations are one of the following:
C:\Program Files\SellFolio V4 Basic
C:\Program Files\SellFolio V4 Client Projects
C:\Program Files\SellFolio V4 Complete

2) Locate the file named init.txt, and RIGHT-click over it.  Choose Properties > Security tab > and under "Group or user names" choose the option that you are using (usually the Users option will work).  Click the Edit button to change permissions, select the same option again in the list, and under "Permissions for Users," select all available "Allow" checkboxes.  Click OK to exit out of the dialog boxes.

3) Double-click the init.txt file, which will open it in Notepad.

4) Edit the line that says:
&projectPath=C:\SellFolios_V4&
... to read the proper drive path that you require, such as:
&projectPath=H:\SellFolios_V4&

5) Run SellFolio Builder to ensure that you can save your projects in the new folder.
