Knowledge Article 0601:
I
can't burn my project to CD using SellFolio

_________________________________________________

Explanation 1

We have had several users experience a problem whereby they try to burn their project to CD using the CD-burning function in SellFolio.  (We have found this problem to exist particularly with users who have Dell computers).

The issue is this: SellFolio does not contain any native CD-burning capability. It only makes use of the CD-burning capability that comes with Windows XP.  We have found that some users' systems contain improperly configured or corrupt Windows XP system files, which cause the Windows XP CD-burning capability to fail.  Unfortunately, this is not a SellFolio issue, since it's a Windows XP issue.

Solution 1

You can view the following Microsoft articles to see if it resolves the issue:

Solution 2

We recommend to users who experience this problem to contact their computer manufacturer and inform them that "your Windows XP CD-burning capability is failing to burn CD's." In cases (that we are aware of) where customers contacted their computer manufacturer, the computer manufacturer was able to resolve the issue for them.

Solution 3

You can use the CD-burning software that came with your computer to burn your SellFolio projects to CD.  For general guidance on doing this, please go to this link.  Or, download the Free Tutorials from our website using the link below:

DOWNLOAD THE MULTIMEDIA TRAINING TUTORIALS

Then, install the tutorials, and from SellFolio's menu bar, view the tutorial on burning CD's.
