 Knowledge Article 0303:
What limitations are there for looping background music?
_________________________________________________
Explanation 1
Using a looping .MP3 background music file that is too large can
cause problems with playback via the Internet. No problems
should be encountered if playing your SellFolio project via your
hard drive or CD disk.
Solution 1
FOR MUSIC: We recommend that you save your .MP3 file using the
following settings: 48-bit, 22KHz, Mono.
NOTE: If you are using looping background music, avoid using full
songs, which tend to be very large in file size. These full
songs take up a great deal of memory, and some computers may not be
able to handle it. Instead, use small music loops, which load
once, occupy very little memory, and tend to sound just as good.
Your looping background music should be no larger than 200K to
500K (0.2 megabytes to 0.5 megabytes) in file size to ensure that
your viewers can view your SellFolio project on the Internet. You can check out
SellFolio's MusicPacks, which are extremely affordable, or you
can buy looping background music from other vendors, as well.
