How do I upload a SellFolio to my Yahoo Small Business website?

There are two ways to upload your SellFolio project to your Yahoo Small Business website.  The first method is recommended and requires you to use a third-party FTP program.  The second method is more tedious, but relies on Yahoo's File Manager function instead of a third-party FTP program.

Solution 1: Use a third-party FTP program to upload your SellFolio project

1. You will need a third-party FTP program, such as FileZilla, which is available for download on the Internet.  You can download FileZilla by conducting a search on the Internet.  SellFolio LLC is not affiliated with the FileZilla product and does not provide technical support.  Users are encouraged to comply with any license agreements with any third party software.  This example uses FileZilla.

2. You will need your FTP login information.  For Yahoo Small Business, your FTP login details are:
Address or Hostname: ftp.yourdomainname.com (Example: ftp.illumicentdata.biz)
User: youryahooid@yourdomainname.com (Example: joebrown1@illumicentdata.biz)
Password: your Yahoo password (Example: catsanddogs)

3. View the following tutorial (be sure to turn on your speakers if required), and upload your project as-shown:

NOTE: You might wish to place your SellFolio project into a subfolder on your existing Yahoo website.  If so, on the Remote side in FileZilla, right-click, and choose "Create Directory."  Specify a new name, all lower-case, no spaces, and no special characters.  Place the contents of your local Bin folder into that new remote-side folder, and place your local Images folder itself into that remote-side folder.  Ensure that the remote images folder is all loser-case.  Below is what you would have:

     \my_sellfolio_project    <--place your local Bin folder contents here

          \images    <--place your images folder here with all its contents

The web address of such a project would be http://www.illumicentdata.biz/my_sellfolio_project/sellfolio.html

Solution 2: Use Yahoo's File Manager to upload your SellFolio project

1. Log in to your Yahoo "Webhosting Control Panel" using your login details.

2. Click the Manage tab.

3. Click the File Manager link.

4. Click the Create Subdirectory link.  Specify a new name, all lower-case, no spaces, and no special characters (such as my_sellfolio_project).  Click the Create Subdirectory button.

5. Click your new folder to go into it.

6. Click Upload Files.

7. Where you see the fields and Browse buttons, add all of the files in your C:\SellFolios_V4\<yourProjectName\Bin\ folder, EXCEPT for the images folder and launch.exe.  You might need to click the Add More Files button to add enough fields for all your files.

8. Click the Upload Files button.  DO NOT convert the file names or file extensions.

9. Click the File Manager link.

10. Click the Create Subdirectory link.  Specify a name of images, all lower-case.  Click the Create Subdirectory button.

11. Click the images folder to go into it.

12. Click Upload Files.

13. Where you see the fields and Browse buttons, add all of the files in your C:\SellFolios_V4\<yourProjectName\Bin\Images folder.

14. Click the Upload Files button.  DO NOT convert the file names or file extensions.

15. Click the File Manager link.

The web address of your project would be http://www.illumicentdata.biz/my_sellfolio_project/sellfolio.html  .
